FRCC is hosting this 3-Day MEMBERS ONLY FREE "Summer Cycling Fiesta" in the Beautiful San Diego region! This event is your chance to see many of San Diego’s finest features and experience local iconic rides! See & Ride the Famous Bayshore Bikeway, Coronado Island, Downtown, the Port of San Diego, Del Mar, Carlsbad Village, North County, and MORE! TOO MUCH TO LIST!! 📷

Rides will be on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. All Rides “roll” at 8:30 am.

AFTER EACH RIDE we will Celebrate with Food & Drinks at a local establishment to allow some quality '“FRCC Social Time”! 🍔🍕🍝🍺. (Optional & at own expense) Members are encouraged to Invite Family!! (you wouldn't be riding these rides without their support!).

Please note: Transportation, Lodging, & Meals are at own expense. There is NO SAG SUPPORT or Staffed "rest stops" on the rides. You may attend any or all of the rides. Each Rider must be self-sufficient regarding roadside repairs, nutrition, and hydration.
Also: Due to the wide-range of fitness and ability levels among cyclists, you should load the course onto your GPS device in case you become separated from the group (ahead OR behind!)

This is an iconic San Diego Ride that includes the famous Bayshore Bikeway. We add a loop around Coronado Island, then the FERRY RIDE across the Bay for the short ride to the Finish! You won’t ever forget the incredible views of San Diego and surrounds. This ride is conducted at a relaxed, social pace!

Visit the popular CARLSBAD VILLAGE. See the Oceanside Pier & '“Top Gun” house. Ride the popular San Luis Rey River Trail. Cruise thru Vista and the Carlsbad Coastal Hills. See the Blue Pacific from atop Encinitas and at Solana Beach, then a Coastal Express to the Finish.
These are hilly and challenging routes. Be ready to Climb! (and there are many downhill “rewards” too! 😃) Don’t want to climb? OK! Just ride the first 15 miles and head back the same way you rode out! Easy! (plus one can cut it short almost anytime—just head to the Coast and back to Carlsbad!)
