49 miles for 49 years! (OK—maybe just a teeny bit more).

This Special Route is paved trails and a few wide OC city streets along creeks and beautiful Newport Bay. There will be a water station and bathroom break at mile 17.5 then a coffee and bakery stop at mile 28 (C'est Si Bon Bakery), then a final bathroom and water station break at mile 40 (Edna Park) taking us back to our final destination at Yorba Regional.

The route will start with a good climb up Imperial Highway to Santiago Canyon Road. Then Santiago Canyon Road to Jamboree to Portola. Then we get on the protected trail to Newport Back Bay along Peter's Canyon. Once it ends we get on PCH weand head to C'est Si Bon Bakery for coffee and bakery goods (which is about the 1/2 way point). Then we head up PCH to SART then back to Yorba Regional Park.

No drop ride. No support and no bailout route on this beautiful loop
