Mountains to the Beach! A Perfect way to enjoy a nice mountain climb to Chantry Flat and then ride the San Gabriel River Trail to Long Beach! Then it’s back to Pico Rivera (you may be tempted to stop at Ballast Point, but ya still got some riding left! ) Well… there’s always Uber!
The Chantry Flat mountain climb is a 1600 ft gain in 5 miles—a good way to try your climbing prowess! (not too long, not too hard, Hopefully Just Right!) You’ll see some awesome scenery going up to Adam's Pack station.
This is a NO DROP Ride. Gaps may occur, regroupings completed as appropriate.
*Non-FRCC Members may ride one “test” ride.
Note: Due to the wide-range of fitness and ability levels among cyclists, you should load the course onto your GPS device in case you become separated from the group (ahead OR behind!)
Ride Duration Time is Estimated
All Riders must be self-sufficient (nutrition, hydration, tools, tubes, etc.)
