Visit the popular CARLSBAD VILLAGE. See the Oceanside Pier & '“Top Gun” house. Ride the popular San Luis Rey River Trail. Cruise thru Vista and the Carlsbad Coastal Hills. See the Blue Pacific from atop Encinitas and at Solana Beach, then a Coastal Express to the Finish.

These are hilly and challenging routes. Be ready to Climb! (and there are many downhill “rewards” too! 😃) Don’t want to climb? OK! Just ride the first 15 miles and head back the same way you rode out! Easy! (plus one can cut it short almost anytime—just head to the Coast and back to Carlsbad!)
